Fair fun still possible as St. Joseph County 4-H Fair wraps up in South Bend

SOUTH BEND — The St. Joseph County 4-H Fair continues its 100th year through Saturday, July 5, when it will end with fireworks at dusk. Both July 4 and 5 are wristband days beginning at 2 p.m. In addition to the midway foods and rides and the 4-H exhibit hall attractions, highlights of the last two days include a 4-H rocket launch demonstration at 10 a.m., a corndog eating contest at noon and the horse and pony contest at 5 p.m. on Friday, and the livestock auction at 10:30 a.m., antique tractor pull at 1 p.m. and a pie eating contest at 5 p.m. on Saturday.
