The Orlando Magic drafted Michigan State basketball guard Jase Richardson with the 25th pick in the 2025 NBA Draft on June 25.
He is the son of the 13-year NBA veteran Jason Richardson, who attended MSU and was the fifth pick in the 2001 NBA Draft. Jason also played for the Orlando Magic in his career.
Jase averaged 12 points per game on 41% shooting from the 3-point line last season for the Spartans. During his freshman year he was a part of the 2024-25 All-Big Ten and was on the Big Ten All-Freshman team
