MERIDIAN TWP. — Power has been restored for more than 1,200 Consumers Energy customers in Meridian Township, Consumers spokesman Brian Wheeler said the morning of June 25.
Customers lost power at about 7:45 a.m. because a tree fell on a power line, causing outages and creating an issue at a substation near Legg Park, 3900 Van Atta Road, Wheeler said.
The outage area was roughly south of Haslett Road, between Dobie and Meridian roads, to Holt Road, according to the outage map.
