Customers lost power at about 7:45 a.m. because a tree fell on a power line, causing outages and creating an issue at a substation near Legg Park, 3900 Van Atta Road, Wheeler said.

The outage area was roughly south of Haslett Road, between Dobie and Meridian roads, to Holt Road, according to the outage map.
