FSU lands commitment from 2026 3-star OL

Florida State is cooking up a storm already this week on the recruiting front, and it’s been all offense. After flipping four-star wide receiver Devin Carter from the Auburn Tigers and landing four-star tight end Xavier Tiller on Monday, the Seminoles got a commitment from three-star offensive lineman Jakobe Green on Tuesday morning, he announced via his social media.

With three-star prospect Xavier Payne decommitting recently, Green gets FSU back to three offensive linemen for the 2026 class as he joins three-star Mike Ionata and unranked Luke Francis. Green is the 18th commit for the Seminoles for the cycle, who have the No. 9 recruiting class in the country.

Green is the No. 572 overall recruit and the No. 50 interior offensive lineman in the nation per the 247Sports composite rankings. The 6-foot-3, 335-pounder is also the No. 82 prospect in the state of Florida.

In the last week, Florida has landed eight commitments for their 2026 class. For the month of June, they have 10, which is more than half of their total for the cycle. Head coach Mike Norvell and his staff are on fire right now, and if it continues, it could be the best class of his tenure so far.
