Social media reacts to FSU's football flipping a 4-star QB from Oklahoma

The FSU Seminoles have their quarterback.

Four-star prospect Jaden O’Neal flipped to Mike Norvell’s program on Sunday. O’Neal was previously committed to the Oklahoma Sooners, and it is the second straight year that FSU has flipped a four-star quarterback from the Sooners, they stole Kevin Sperry last year.

He is the 15th member of FSU’s 2026 recruiting class and the highest-rated. O’Neal is the No. 205 overall player and No. 14 quarterback in the 247Sports composite rankings. The 6-foot-3, 215-pounder is also the No. 1 prospect in Oklahoma.

O’Neal is an extremely strong-armed thrower who excels at completing deep passes, an important part of FSU’s offense under Gus Malzahn. However, he has not been much of a running threat during his high school career, another important aspect of Malzahn’s offenses. He completed 71% (88-124) of his passes for 1,798 yards and 16 touchdowns against one interception as a junior, per MaxPreps.

His commitment fired up the FSU fanbase and they took to social media to celebrate his addition. Here is a look at some of the best reactions.
