RICHMOND, IN — The Wayne County 4-H Fair starts Saturday, June 21, at the fairgrounds with a weeklong slate of events.
New activities for this year include a new game show, “Tractor Trivia: Wheels of Ag,” roaming the fairgrounds each day with Safari Sam and Oscar the Ostrich and a mobile Southwest Dairy Classroom. Events such as First Bite Fishing, the rodeo (now eight events) and drag racing return.
According to the fair’s flyer, free general parking is available until 11 a.m. on Saturdays, 4 p.m. on weekdays and 8 a.m. on Sunday. Afterward, parking at the main gate will cost $5 per vehicle or a walk-in fee of $2 per person, though attendees can buy a weeklong parking pass for $15.
Gate admission for events at the track will be $10 for adults, $5 for children ages 6 to 12 and free for ages 5 and under. Trackside parking (pit pass) will be $15.
