FSU defensive tackle target sets commitment date

The FSU Seminoles have already landed three defensive linemen this month, and another target is ready to announce his commitment.

Cam Brickle, a three-star defensive tackle who attends IMG Academy, announced on Wednesday that he will be committing on June 28. He is set to decide between the FSU Seminoles, Maryland Terrapins, Penn State Nittany Lions, and Ohio State Buckeyes.

He is the No. 532 overall player and No. 61 defensive lineman in the 247Sports composite rankings. The 6-foot-2, 305-pounder is also the No. 76 player from Florida.

The Seminoles were late to enter the race for Brickle, offering him a scholarship on March 8 during an unofficial visit. The relationship quickly developed and he returned for an official visit in June. He has already taken official visits to Ohio State and Maryland and will take one to Penn State a week before he commits.

FSU has already landed commitments from defensive linemen James Carrington, Tico Crittendon, and Wihtlley Cadrau this month, but they need to keep stacking bodies at such a critical position.
