Warning: Spoilers ahead from “American Ninja Warrior” Season 17, episode 3, which aired on June 16, 2025 on NBC.
“American Ninja Warrior” fixture Taylor Amann is semifinals bound.
During Season 17’s Las Vegas qualifiers, Amann’s obstacle course run — which aired June 16 on NBC — got her into episode 3’s top 20.
This is the third time the Milwaukeean has made it past “ANW’s” qualifying round — her fifth time competing overall.
During Amann’s Ninja rookie season in 2019, she went all the way to the national finals. That came after the former Badger pole vaulting superstar and two teammates won “Team Ninja Warrior: College Madness” in 2016.
Qualifiers, which are halfway through, will continue airing Mondays on NBC. Semifinals are set to air over the course of three episodes, starting July 14.
Here’s a look at Amann’s qualifiers course run, the obstacle course and more:
Three fan-favorite obstacles from the past made their season debuts
June 16’s episode featured a six-obstacle course: Quad Steps, Lunatic Ledges, Log Runner, Crank It Up, V Formation and either Warped Wall or Mega Wall.
These were the three iconic obstacles from the past that made their season debuts on that episode, sideline co-host Zuri Hall announced on the show:

Amann was introduced by hosts Akbar Gbajabiamila and Matt Iseman as a college track star and three-time Big Ten pole vault champ who previously made it to the “ANW” national finals.
Amann’s fiancé was there, showing his support from the sidelines.
“The Wisconsin native vaulted past Lunatic Ledges and raced across Log Runner, but ran out of steam on Crank It Up,” said Gbajabiamila, narrating Amann’s course run. Her time was 1:15.64.
Pulling herself out of the water she dropped into, Amann said to the camera: “My arm just gave out.”
Ranked 18th, Amann was among the top 20 competitors from June 16’s episode to advance to the semifinals.
