On the longest day of the year, Capri Sun is going big — like, comically big.
To mark the summer solstice, the juice-box brand released a limited-edition pouch more than a foot tall — a nostalgic, not-so-serious nod to childhood summers, but with over three times the juice of the original.
The towering 20-ounce pouch clocks in at 15 inches. It’s got the same look, feel and flavor of a classic Capri Sun — just supersized, like it spent a little too long in a stretch machine and may even eclipse the sun itself.
Maybe the best part? This isn’t your average juice box — it’s a fill-your-own juice experience. The Solstice Pouch comes empty and ready to be filled. It’s bundled with a 64 oz bottle of Capri Sun Fruit Punch, (but feel free to grab your favorite flavor on the side!).
Pour, seal, sip, repeat.
How much is the Capri Sun Summer Solstice pouch?
The fill-your-own kit cost just $1.50 — a playful nod to the solstice’s 15 hours of sunlight — and includes both the empty pouch and the 64-ounce bottle of Fruit Punch.
Where to buy the Capri Sun Summer Solstice pouch
The 20-ounce Solstice Pouch dropped in two batches on June 16 and 17 on Walmart.com and sold out within minutes, according to USATODAY.com
The exclusive pouches were only available for a limited time and will not be restocked.
“We know our fans love discovering new twists on our iconic pouch, but the response to our longest pouch ever blew us away,” Senior Brand Manager Jessica Barker said in an emailed statement to USA TODAY. “Both drops sold out in just minutes—four and six, to be exact—which is a pretty clear sign that our fans are just as serious about fun as we are.”
What day is Summer Solstice 2025?
This year, the summer solstice falls on June 20, marking the official first day of summer — and the longest stretch of daylight all year, as the sun reaches its highest and northernmost point in the sky.
Updated with additional information about the pouches selling out.
