OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. — Pacers All-Star point guard Tyrese Haliburton is experiencing lower leg tightness but will return to the game according to Pacers public relations staff.
Haliburton was seen limping after the Pacers’ Game 2 loss in Oklahoma City and acknowledged having a lower leg issue. He’s been seen since getting some form of electric pulse treatment near his right ankle and has been wearing black tape on the ankle. He tripped in the first quarter of Game 5 and seemed a little hobbled and was wearing a wrap of some form on his leg on the sideline.
Haliburton, a two-time All-Star and two-time All-NBA pick, went 0-for-5 from the field in the first half and went scoreless as the Pacers trailed 59-45 at the break. It was the first time he’s had zero points in a half in a playoff game in his career.
