Wrestler Jordan Williams, who announced March 29 he was transferring to Iowa, has been charged with two misdemeanors stemming from an alleged incident on June 14.

According to a court affidavit, Williams was involved in an altercation with a female and was asked to leave by security. Williams allegedly refused to leave and is accused of shoving a bouncer. Additionally, Williams refused a breath test, according to the court affidavit.

An initial trial date for the alleged incident is set for Sept. 10 at the Johnson County Courthouse.

An Iowa spokesperson said Williams is not officially a member of the Hawkeye wrestling team at this time, and therefore the school is unable to comment on the situation.
