Two local high school basketball teams are heading to Indiana for a Hollywood-like experience.
Lewistown and Illini Central will play a pair of basketball games at Hoosier Gym on Saturday, Jan. 3, 2026. The girls will play first at 4 p.m. followed by the boys game at 5:30 p.m.
Hoosier Gym was the fictional home gym of Hickory High in the classic 1986 basketball movie “Hoosiers.”
Hoosier Gym, also a museum and community center, is located about 40 miles east of Indianapolis, at 355 N Washington St. in Knightstown.
