CAMBRIDGE − First Christian Church will host a rummage and bake sale from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. July 12, in its parking lot, 1127 Beatty Ave.
Shaw Brothers performing June 24
NEW CONCORD − Folk and American music will be highlighted when the Shaw Brothers perform at 7 p.m. June 24, at New Concord Village Park, 77 W. Main St. The performance is part of the Celebrate New Concord, the annual summer concert series. Rain location is the New Concord United Methodist Church, 20 E. High St.
Molly Dunn takes on new role at MU
NEW CONCORD − Molly Dunn has been named the inaugural associate vice president for external engagement at Muskingum University in New Concord. In her new role she will lead university-wide efforts to expand Muskingum’s impact across the region by cultivating cross-sector partnerships, aligning academic programs with workforce needs and strengthening early talent pipelines. She will also facilitate the university’s government relations strategy, advocating for policies that increase access, affordability and educational opportunity at the local, state and federal levels. Dunn was previously the executive director of the college’s Impact Center.
Radio checks and field exercise for amateur radio club
CAMBRIDGE − The Cambridge Amateur Radio Association will participate in the ARRL Field Day Exercise where amateur radio operators across the United States and Canada set up portable stations and using emergency power attempt to contact as many other stations as they can in a 24-hour period. The exercise will start at 2 p.m. June 28, at the Muskingum County Highland Township Grove Park in Bloomfield.

● Mid-East Career and Technology Centers Board of Education will hold a special meeting at 6:30 p.m. June 23, at the administrative center, 400 Richards Road, to accept the resignations and consider the possible employment of personnel.
● The Cambridge Amateur Radio Association will meet at 10:30 a.m. June 21, in the Guernsey County Administration Building.
