Corvallis, Oregon, is a long trip for Florida State baseball and the furthest it has gone all year.
Regardless of the distance and the environment, FSU is two games away from returning to Omaha for the College World Series. To get there, the nine-seeded Seminoles must take care of business against No. 8 seed Oregon State.
The first pitch is set for Friday at 6 p.m. at Goss Stadium. While FSU made it through the Tallahassee regional last weekend by winning all three games, two against Mississippi State in back-to-back days, the Beavers avoided elimination by TCU and USC twice following their loss to St. Mary’s in the opening round.
Let’s take a look at Oregon State.
