As things stand today (June 28, 2025), the Wisconsin Badgers currently have 15 players committed to their class of 2026.
With official visits now mostly complete, that group currently ranks No. 37 in the nation and No. 13 in the Big Ten. Luke Fickell and his staff are looking for their third consecutive top-25 finish in the national rankings.
Wisconsin is facing several significant challenges this cycle. First, ace general manager Max Stienecker left for USC in February. While only time will tell what his departure means for the Badgers’ recruiting efforts, early indications are that his loss is significant. The Trojans’ 2026 class currently ranks No. 1 in the nation with 27 commits (16 four-stars, one five-star) — numerous of whom have pledged since Stienecker’s arrival.
Second, the program is just 12-13 in two years under Fickell. Initial excitement from his hire has worn off as the team has struggled on the field, capped off by a 5-7 finish to 2024. It is still to be seen how those relative on-field struggles affect the program’s recruiting output.
Wisconsin would do extremely well to compile a class that again threatens the nation’s top 25. As it works to do so, here is a tracker for all of its commitments, updated each time a recruit is added.
