OSHKOSH – Parents will have another after-school option starting this fall.
The Boys & Girls Club of Oshkosh and the Winneconne Community School District are partnering to offer an after-school program for students in kindergarten through fifth grade starting next school year.
According to a news release from the Boys & Girls Club, the program will be at Winneconne Elementary School, 233 S. Third Ave., and runs from the end of school until 5:30 p.m.
“This partnership is a wonderful opportunity to provide our students a safe, enriching space beyond the classroom,” said Winneconne Elementary School Principal Lisa Hughes. “The after-school program is another way to support families in our district and strengthen the overall well-being and development of our young learners.”
Students enrolled in the program will receive a snack, a supervised recess and engage in a variety of hands-on, age-appropriate activities focused on art, physical activity, academic support, character development and social-emotional learning.
Membership fees are $25 for the first child, $15 for the second, and $10 for the third, with a $50 maximum per family.
The daily attendance fee is $10, and families are only charged for scheduled days of attendance. County assistance will be accepted.
