Florida State men’s basketball coach Luke Loucks added a transfer portal player to his roster.
Jacksonville guard Robert McCray V announced on his Instagram page that he officially signed with the Seminoles. The 6-foot-4, 186-pound point guard is the fourth player to sign in Loucks’ first transfer portal class.

McCray will reunite with Michael Fly, a Dolphins’ associate head coach before joining Loucks’ coaching staff. McCray played two seasons with JU after spending one season at Wake Forest.
247 Sports rated McCray as a four-star prospect and ranked him as the No. 21 point guard in the portal.
This year, he started 31 of the 32 games played, averaging 16 points, 4.8 rebounds, and 4.5 assists a game. He shot 42.8 from the field and 32.6 from 3.
The year before that, he averaged a career-best 18.4 points a game and had a 50.2 shooting percentage and a 35.8 3-point shooting percentage.
