Guardians-Reds to start earlier with bad weather looming

The start time of Friday’s game between the Cleveland Guardians and Reds was moved up 90 minutes in anticipation of the forecasted severe weather in the Cincinnati area.

The game at Great American Ball Park will begin at 5:10 p.m. ET.

Friday’s series opener features Reds manager Terry Francona squaring off against his former club.

Cleveland’s Tanner Bibee (3-3, 3.80 ERA) will be opposed by Cincinnati’s Brady Singer (4-2, 4.97) in a battle of right-handers.
