Thelma Castillo, President & CEO of the Blue Water Chamber of Commerce travels to Karas & Co. in downtown Port Huron. Located inside the former Diana’s Sweets Shop building, Shannon Karas, owner of Karas & Co. has transformed the building into a magnificent full-service Hair and Nail Salon.
Since the Covid-19 outbreak, businesses have had to alter their practices to keep their employee and customers safe. Shannon has implemented these changes along with her staff while still providing a warm and friendly atmosphere. For example, Karas & Co. conducts a quick health screening by taking the customer’s temperature and answering a short questionnaire before working with clients.
