WASHINGTON, July 29 (Reuters) – The United States on Wednesday issued another round of Iran-related sanctions, targeting eight tankers and 10 entities, according to a notice posted on the U.S. Department of Treasury’s website.
Six of the entities targeted on Wednesday were based in China, according to the notice.
The sanctions come after U.S. President Donald Trump earlier on Wednesday vowed to hit Iran hard, according to an interview with Fox News, after the U.S. military said it had intercepted multiple ballistic missiles launched by Iran towards American forces in the Middle East.
