OSHKOSH – Tim McGraw will headline XRoads41 on Aug. 14, 2027, as the Oshkosh music festival looks to build on another record-setting year.
The country music star is the first headliner announced for next year’s festival, which will run Aug. 12-14, 2027, at Oshkosh Festivals Park.
More artists are expected to be announced later, with the next headliner reveal scheduled for Sept. 18.
Who is Tim McGraw?
McGraw is a three-time Grammy Award winner and one of country music’s most successful artists. He has sold more than 90 million records worldwide and has had 49 No. 1 singles, 19 No. 1 albums and 36 Top 10 singles, according to Oshkosh Festivals LLC.
His catalog includes “Live Like You Were Dying,” “Something Like That,” “Humble and Kind,” “Where the Green Grass Grows,” “It’s Your Love” and “Don’t Take the Girl.”
Festival says 2027 lineup will build on 2026 momentum
“We’re ecstatic to announce Tim McGraw as the first headliner for 2027,” Mindy Klein, marketing director for Oshkosh Festivals LLC, said in a statement. “After the momentum and record-setting attendance we saw in 2026, we’re setting the pace for an even bigger and better 2027 event by announcing a modern legend with a career spanning more than three decades. Expect another killer lineup!”
XRoads41 drew a record crowd in 2026
XRoads41 drew 66,543 attendees across three days in 2026, the largest crowd since the festival launched in Oshkosh three years ago, the Northwestern previously reported.
The 2026 festival featured 29 performances across three stages, led by Jason Aldean, Lainey Wilson, Zac Brown Band, Treaty Oak Revival and Wiz Khalifa.
Organizers also expanded food, shopping, activity and sponsor experiences, including 23 food vendors and more than 30 shopping, activity and experience vendors.
How XRoads41 has grown in Oshkosh
XRoads41 has grown from a new Oshkosh festival into a larger destination event built around national touring acts, camping and festival experiences at the Oshkosh festival grounds.
The 2025 festival opened its campgrounds with a free concert designed to give the broader community a preview of the festival experience. Organizers later expanded the 2026 lineup with major acts including Jason Aldean, Lainey Wilson, Wiz Khalifa and Zac Brown Band.
In 2026, Oshkosh Festivals also launched a one-day rock event, XRoads41 Hard Drive, immediately after XRoads41, further extending the festival weekend at the same venue.
When is XRoads41 in 2027?
XRoads41 is scheduled for Aug. 12-14, 2027, in Oshkosh. Three-day festival tickets and camping are on sale now through XRoads41.com.
The festival is produced by Oshkosh Festivals LLC, which says its mission is to produce premier, affordable events focused on safety, customer service, memorable experiences and community connections.
