The weather forecast for Packers Family Night appears to sunny and clear clear for most of the event, with a potential storm later in the evening, according to the National Weather Service Green Bay.
For the most part, it will be a “summery” day on Aug. 7, with temperatures in the mid-80s and not an “unbearable” amount of humidity, said Jason Alumbaugh, a meteorologist with the National Weather Service Green Bay. It could also be farily breezy. “We have southwest winds gusting up to maybe around 20 miles an hour,” Alumbaugh said.
Alumbaugh said there is a 30%-40% chance of storms from 7 p.m.-midnight, but that they’ll likely be later. “From what I’m looking at, might be a little later, more towards the later part of that window,” Alumbaugh said.
Activities begin about 3 p.m. Aug. 7 with Family Fest in the Titletown district. The Lambeau Field parking lots and Johnsonville Tailgate Village open at 3:30 p.m. Stadium gates open at 5:30 p.m. and practice begins at 7:30 p.m. There will be a fireworks and laser show after practice.
When people begin entering Lambeau Field around 5:30 p.m., Alumbaugh said the weather looks clear.
