The Marathon County Public Library is offering a free educational trip to the George W. Mead Wildlife Area, according to a community announcement.
The event, open to all ages, will take place July 9. Participants will meet in the library’s lower parking lot on West Washington Street, with the bus departing at 12:15 p.m. for the wildlife area. The bus is expected to return around 3:45 p.m., according to the announcement.
Attendees will have the opportunity to craft clay model animal tracks, learn about fur and skull identification, and explore various mammal behaviors.
How to sign up for the trip
