The 2025-26 Big Ten basketball season is in its final stretch; one week of games remains before the postseason tournament bracket is finalized.

Michigan still leads the conference, winning the regular-season race in a runaway. The third-ranked Wolverines are one of five Big Ten teams in the latest AP Top 25; No. 8 Michigan State, No. 9 Nebraska, No. 11 Illinois and No. 15 Purdue follow. Wisconsin and Ohio State also received votes. With those teams’ NCAA Tournament fates set, the end-of-season drama will be mostly seen in the race for the conference tournament’s four double-byes.
Big games during the final week include Wisconsin at Purdue (Saturday), Iowa at Nebraska (Sunday) and Michigan State at Michigan (Sunday). As the days count down until the Big Ten standings are finalized, here is an updated look at the tournament bracket if the season ended today.
Projected Big Ten Tournament bracket as of March 4
First Round
Second Round
Third Round
Quarterfinals
Semifinals
The winner of those two semifinal games will meet in the tournament final on Sunday, March 15. The conclusion of that game leads into CBS’s Selection Sunday show and the unveiling of the NCAA Tournament bracket.
