The month of June is two-thirds complete. With several official visit weekends in the rear view, the class of 2026 recruiting cycle continues to gain clarity.
Major storylines in the Big Ten include USC’s run of top-tier commitments to start the cycle, Michigan State’s recent resurgence, Illinois capitalizing on a program-best 2024 season and both Oregon and Michigan waiting in the wings, ready to take significant steps forward with a run of commitments.

The next several weeks should see significant movement in the class. Once the calendar turns to July, the focus will turn toward the 2025 campaign.
