A 20-year-old motorcyclist died in a multi-vehicle crash along State 172 over the Fox River, the Brown County Sheriff’s Office said.
Two vehicles and one motorcycle were traveling west on the Highway 172 bridge when the crash occurred at about 9:30 p.m. Aug. 22, according to law enforcement and traffic officials.
The motorcyclist, who was from Allouez, suffered critical injuries and died at a local hospital. His name has not been released.
The two drivers involved included a 20-year-old Green Bay man driving a Porsche Macan and a 75-year-old Green Bay woman driving a Dodge Journey. The woman was treated for minor injuries, the sheriff’s office said.
The Brown County Sheriff’s Office did not provide more specifics of the crash, including the cause, which remained under investigation on Aug. 23.
Traffic alerts from the Wisconsin Department of Transportation indicate the crash happened around 9:28 p.m. Aug. 22 and the scene was cleared around 2:02 a.m. Aug. 23. All westbound lanes were closed from South Webster Avenue to South Oneida Street as law enforcement agencies responded to the scene.
