There is no denying that things for the Wisconsin Badgers have been up and down since the turn of the decade. So when you can find a bit of continuity among even a bit of your team, it is worth taking full advantage of it.
For the Badgers, that was found in former defensive back Ricardo Hallman.Hallman established himself as one of the game’s best ball-hawkers at the collegiate level. During his redshirt sophomore season in the Big Ten, Hallman reeled in an FBS-leading 7 interceptions. Throughout his career with the Badgers, Hallman notched 50 appearances with 92 tackles and 10 interceptions. Last season, Hallman finished the year ranked as the nation’s 324th-best cornerback in the country, having tallied a 71 overall PFF Grade. Despite going undrafted in this year’s NFL draft, it was recently announced that Hallman had signed a deal with the Denver Broncos.
While Hallman still has a lot of work to do before he finds himself playing meaningful minutes at a team like the Broncos, this represents a great opportunity for him to get his feet wet.
