WISCONSIN RAPIDS – A lottery player is $191,000 richer after buying a Badger 5 ticket in Wisconsin Rapids.
According to a release from Wisconsin Lottery, the winning Badger 5 ticket was sold at Kwik Trip at 1111 Lincoln St. in Wisconsin Rapids for the May 31 drawing.
The winning numbers were: 2, 3, 10, 14 and 19, according to the release.
The Lincoln Street Kwik Trip has sold a few other winning lottery tickets in the last few years, according to Wisconsin Lottery, including prizes of $50,000, $25,000, $30,000 and $48,000.
This winning ticket in Wisconsin Rapids is the fifth time in the last two weeks a Badger 5 jackpot was won in Wisconsin, and the ninth Badger 5 jackpot won in May, according to the Wisconsin Lottery release.
Badger 5 is drawn after 9 p.m. daily, and tickets must be purchased before 9 p.m. to be included in that day’s drawing, according to Wisconsin Lottery.
Retailers who sell tickets winning more than $599 receive a 2% Retailer Performance Program Winning Ticket Incentive, up to $100,000.
