Central Wisconsin's top HS postseason performances from June 8-15

It’s time to dive into the top high school sports performances over the past week across Stevens Point, Marshfield, Wausau and Wisconsin Rapids. 

Find out which postseason performances stood out as the strongest outings from student-athletes across baseball and softball.

Here is a look at the top high school performances around the Central Wisconsin area from June 8-15.

BASEBALL:

Joe Schiszik, Stevens Point: Schiszik collected three hits and three earned runs while striking out four in a 4-3 loss to Menomonie. 

Noah Przekurat, Stevens Point: Przekurat tallies two hits, including a double and two RBI in a 4-3 loss to Menomonie.

Tyler Hargraves, Columbus Catholic: Hargraves smashed a homerun driving in two runs on the day in a 15-5 win over Rib Lake. 

Holden Lomax, Columbus Catholic: Lomax tallied three hits, two runs and two RBI in a 12-1 win over Athens on Tuesday, June 9. 

Mac Konieczny, Columbus Catholic: In five innings pitched,  Konieczny yielded one hit and one run while striking out six in a 12-1 win over Athens on Tuesday, June 9. 

SOFTBALL: 

Reegan Kedrowski, Stevens Point: In three innings pitched, Kedrowski struck out three while yielding one hit and one earned run. 

Jordan Roth, Stevens Point: Roth collected two hits and one RBI in a 10-3 state semifinal loss to Appleton North.

Lexi Carlton, Almond-Bancroft: Carlton went the distance yielding five hits, three earned runs while striking out seven in a 11-6 state semifinal win over Blair-Taylor.  

Madilynn Cole, Marshfield: Cole finished with  two hits and three runs in a 14-8 state semifinal loss to Muskego.  

Rylee Hraby, Medford: Hraby went the distance yielding  two hits and one earned run while striking out seven in a 1-0 loss to Pewaukee. 

Laney Hraby, Medford: Hraby collected a game-high of two hits in a state semifinal loss to Pewaukee. 

Allison Podjaski, Marathon: Podjaski yielded seven hits and two earned runs while striking out six in a 2-0 state semifinal loss to Mineral Point. 

Sophia Chapa, Almond-Bancroft: Chapa collected three hits, two runs and a game-high of four RBI in a 11-6 win over Blair-Taylor. 

Riya Ceballos, Almond-Bancroft: Ceballos finished with two hits, three runs and one RBI in a 11-6 win over Blair-Taylor. 

Mya Dernbach, Almond-Bancroft: Dernbach tallied three hits and three runs in a 16-8 win over Belmont in the Division 5 state championship game. 

Aaliyah Newby, Almond-Bancroft: Newby finished with two hits, two runs and four RBI in a 16-8 win over Belmont in the Division 5 state championship game. 

Oakley Omernik, Almond-Bancroft: Omernik collected three hits, two runs and two RBI in a 16-8 win over Belmont in the Division 5 state championship game.
