Nineteen bands will perform at this year’s Octoberfest in Appleton on Sept. 27, according to festival organizers.
The lineup offers a mix of genres, from rock, Americana, ’90s hip-hop, polka and others. The festival also revealed additional details regarding payments at the festival, and other experiences to enjoy.

These are the bands that will perform at Octoberfest, including the stage and time they perform at.
105.7 WAPL Stage – Western College Avenue
RAZOR 94.7/104.7 Stage – Superior Street
104.3 The Fuse Stage – Houdini Plaza
95.9 KISS FM/FCCU Stage – Division Street
WHBY/95.3 The Score Stage – Morrison Street
Bars and wristband booths are cashless
All beer ticket sales and wristbands to buy beer will be cashless, according to the festival. Guests will be able to use credit/debit cards or other mobile payment options. This is being done to improve efficiency and reduce wait times.
Food and arts and crafts vendors will still accept cash and cards. Cash is preferred to help vendors avoid credit card fees.
VIP experience at Appleton’s Octoberfest
The festival is offering the Octoberfest VIP Experience, a private lounge at the Fox Cities Chamber, which offers a comfortable retreat from the crowds. This includes private bathrooms, discounted beer tickets and other perks that will be announced by the festival.

What is Appleton’s Octoberfest?
Appleton’s Octoberfest is an annual event attended by over 200,000 people, who enjoy food, beer, live music, arts and crafts, and family-friendly activities while strolling College Avenue.
The first Octoberfest dates back to 1981. The Appleton Downtown Retail Association (now known as Appleton Downtown Inc.) and the Fox Cities Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Inc. created the festival to showcase downtown Appleton and its local businesses.
