‘Grease’
The Wisconsin Rapids Community Theatre will perform “Grease,” a musical by Warren Casey and Jim Jacobs, from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. Aug. 13, 14 and 15 and from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Aug. 16 at the Wisconsin Rapids Performing Arts Center, 1801 16th St. S. in Wisconsin Rapids. Kellner Corn Fest
The 2026 Kellner Corn Fest will be held Aug. 14 and 15. Bounce houses and food vendors will be set up at Kellner Club, 4111 80th St. S. in Kellner. Left Handed Monkey Wrench will perform at 3 p.m., and Outta Hand Band will perform from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. Friday. Saturday’s festivities include craft and food vendors set up from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., bounce houses, face painting, a scavenger hunt, twist balloons, Giggle Garden Soft Play, a bags tournament, an archery shoot, bingo, a triathlon, a 0.5K Beer Run, ATV/UTV games and more. Grilled corn will be available from the VFW, as well. The Sentential Parade will start at 11 a.m. Saturday, and Derek Jones will perform live music from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. Saturday. Family Fun Festival & Car Show
Jeremiah’s Crossing will host its 18th annual Family Fun Festival & Car Show from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Aug. 15 at Dexter Park, 8220 State 54, south of Pittsville. Festivities include children’s games and activities, music, entertainment, raffles and prizes, food trucks, treats, opportunities for family photos and more. The car show will highlight a variety of cars, trucks, tractors and motorcycles of all years, makes and models. Guests will be able to meet the Jeremiah’s Crossing team, and proceeds will help support free therapeutic horseback riding lessons for children and adults with special needs.
