“Light Between Seasons − Rooted in Color”
“Light Between Seasons − Rooted in Color” is on display at the Chestnut Center for the Arts, 208 S Chestnut Ave. in Marshfield, through Sept. 25. The exhibit features about 25 acrylic paintings − mostly floral landscapes − by artist Carmen Duran. Duran shared that this collection of work is close to her heart, as a share of her commission from any artwork sold will be donated to A.R.M.A. Camp Over Kids, a local charity that supports children and families who are grieving. Duran has volunteered with the organization for years and knows firsthand how every dollar helps, she said. Gallery hours are 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays.
