The overnight lows in the Wichita Falls area may dip to or below freezing over the weekend.

Although it seems late for chilly weather, Wichita Falls occasionally dips to the mark in April. The latest freeze date on the books for the city is April 24, 2013.
Folks in northern Oklahoma may get snow as the weather system moves through, according to the NWS.
Rain continues in the forecast through Saturday night.
As of 8 a.m. Friday, Wichita Falls had officially received 1.45 inches of rain since Wednesday, which helps the city catch up on a deficit. Normally by this date Wichita Falls has received 4.89 inches of precipitation.
