A Central El Paso Asian eatery got a failing score in restaurant inspections done this week.
Phoenix Palace Restaurant located at 1501 E Yandell Drive received a 66 in an inspection on Wednesday, Feb. 25.

A passing score is 70 or higher. Establishments scoring 60 or lower face closure. An inspection conducted on a particular day may not reflect the establishment’s overall long-term condition. A perfect score is 100.
Inspections of any locations that serve or sell food to the public are conducted in the city of El Paso, Anthony, Clint, Horizon City, Socorro, Vinton and El Paso County.
Restaurants that fail inspections are given a chance to rectify violations before a reinspection.
