Texas Tech football earns commitment from London edge rusher

The Texas Tech football team added another defensive player to its 2027 recruiting class, this one coming from across the pond.

NFL Academy member Adeola Werner announced his commitment to the Red Raiders via social media on Monday. Were is listed at 6-foot-4 and 230 pounds at 247Sports. He’s a native of London, England, and was born and raised in Germany.

Werner also had interest from TCU before committing to the Red Raiders. He is the 14th commit to Texas Tech’s recruiting class.
