Banks chose the Red Raiders over Arkansas and Colorado State. He’s listed at 6 feet and 170 pounds.

During the 2025 season, Banks had 576 return yards, took two punt returns for touchdowns, and recorded one interception on defense. He also caught eight passes for 79 yards and a touchdown. Banks began playing varsity as a freshman in 2023.

Late Monday, Texas Tech also earned a commitment from kicker Luc Normand out of Houston, who is a member of the 2028 recruiting class.
