Since joining the Rockets out of LSU ahead of the 2022-23 season, Tari Eason has earned consistent minutes in Houston’s rotation due to his impressive perimeter defense and serviceable 3-point shooting.
In 60 appearances throughout the 2025-26 campaign, Eason averaged 10.5 points, 6.3 rebounds, 1.5 assists, 1.2 steals and 0.5 blocks while shooting 35.8% from beyond the arc, the second-best mark of his career. Unfortunately, Eason’s production became a bit stagnant offensively due to his career-low field-goal percentage of 41.6%. However, having freshly signed a five-year contract extension this summer, the 24-year-old will have many more opportunities to impress for head coach Ime Udoka.
