The first step toward the 2026-28 UIL realignment begins on Halloween.
Member school districts submitted their enrollment figures Friday for what is known as Snapshot Day. These numbers will be used to determine which classification each school will participate in for the next two years.
Although cutoff numbers for each class won’t be released until December, the ranges tend to increase because of the state’s population growth. Each sport’s specific districts will be revealed in February.
Follow along as Snapshot Day enrollments from around the Amarillo area are published as we receive them.
