The El Paso Police Department is investigating a deadly shooting in a Central area neighborhood.
A 21-year-old man died at a hospital after a shooting that occurred about 11:40 p.m. Tuesday, June 17, in the 3000 block of Morehead Avenue, Detective Judy Oviedo, a police spokeswoman, told news reporters.
The location is in the Grandview area, a block north of Fort Boulevard.
The man’s name has not been disclosed. Further details had not been released as an investigation by detectives with the Crimes Against Persons Unit continues.
