The Lubbock County Elections Office has announced the closing of an Election Day voting center days before voting is set to begin.
According to a release from Roxzine Stinson, Lubbock County elections administrator, Democratic and Republican County Party chairs have decided to close the Wolfforth Community Center on March 3, 2026, due to the lack of Election Day Judges.
However, there are 35 other voting locations that voters can use during Election Day, with the Frenship ISD Casey Administration Building being three miles from the closed voting center within the City of Wolfforth.
According to LCEO, the three other nearest polling locations are:
