Nora announced through social media that it was a heartbreaking decision, but needed so their family could focus on their health. In a later post, she also asked for prayers for her husband, Sergio.

In a similar vein of closures, The Baymont by Wyndham Lubbock, 601 Avenue Q, is accepting bids to buy the property months after filing for Chapter 11 bankruptcy. Bids are being accepted through Aug. 18 and can be made by contacting Keith Worsham at 404-514-0242 or kworsham@hilcoglobal.com; Weston Worsham at 404-304-4993 or wworsham@hilcoglobal.com; or Jamie Coté at 203-561-8737 or jcote@hilcoglobal.com.

Recent openings for the week include:

As always, thank you for reading and supporting the A-J.
