London football player Alexander Manning has been voted the 2026 Caller-Times Apple Dental Center Fan Favorite High School Athlete of the Year after a three-week voting competition that featured 33 Athlete of the Week winners from across the Coastal Bend.
Manning finished with 94,578 votes, accounting for the most votes cast in the final round.
London girls track and field athlete Alana Williams finished second with 80,912 votes and Flour Bluff girls soccer player Evelyn McDevitt placed third with 41,607 votes.
Manning’s Athlete of the Week selection came during football season when he accounted for five touchdowns in a key win against Orange Grove. Manning passed for 284 yards and rushed for 171 yards as the Pirates clinched a playoff spot.
Other finalists included London girls track and field athlete Alana Williams, Flour Bluff girls soccer player Evelyn McDevitt, London boys soccer player Colton Wiseman, IWA girls basketball player Abbey Sachanowicz, Flour Bluff girls tennis player Victoria Torres, Hebbronville volleyball player Avalee Rodriguez and Calallen softball player Kylie Butcher.
