Hotter’N Hell Hundred is fast approaching as the nonprofit organization is kicking off its 2026 festivities early with the first ever Hotter’N Hell Hundred Head Start on Sunday, Aug. 23.
Beginning at 4 p.m., Midwestern State University President Stacia Haynie and Wichita Falls Mayor Tim Short will lead a community bike ride for all ages to enjoy.
“We would just love for the whole community to come out and have a good time,” said Hotter’N Hell Hundred Chairman David Coleman.
The bike ride will start on Church Street right off Taft Blvd. and will loop one mile between Hampstead Lane and Midwestern Parkway.
At 5 p.m., the MSU Cycling Team will showcase their talent and skills during an exhibition race.
Food trucks and snow cones will be available throughout the event, alongside the Hotter’N Hell Hundred tent, which will be setup and selling merchandise.
Parking will be free and available in the church lots off Taft Boulevard, as well as the MSU Texas campus.
