Highlights from Texas A&M's seventh spring football practice

Texas A&M had its seventh spring practice on Friday, where the Aggie receiving core continued to steal the show.

Prior to last season, former WR coach and newly-elevated offensive coordinator Holomon Wiggins nailed the transfer portal, picking up KC Concepion and Mario Craver. Concepcion is slated to be a first-round pick in the upcoming draft after a hot junior season, while Craver is on watchlists across the country heading into his junior year.

This season, Wiggins built on his prior success with a truly spectacular freshman receiving corps, led by Aaron Gregory. Wiggins himself said the Ags “struck gold” with the freshman squad, which is high praise from the man who had a receiving core of Jaylen Waddle and the Heisman-winning Devonta Smith.

With a hungry group of freshmen, Craver and Ashton Bethel-Roman returning, and Alabama transfer Isaiah Horton filling Concepcion’s absence, the Aggies are projected to have one of the best receiving rooms in the nation.
