Summertime means summer camp for some families, but those wanting a different type of camp experience can head to La Palmera mall.
The shopping plaza will hold its Camp La Palmera from June 2 through July 23 with dozens of free activities for families.
Amanda Sanchez, the mall’s general manager, said the camp is for those who don’t have the opportunity to attend summer camps.
“Camp La Palmera is our version of summer camp with activities for family members of all ages,” Sanchez said in a release. “There are 38 free events scheduled … and guests are welcome to do as many as they like.”
Some events planned include karaoke, petting zoos, bingo, movies, arts and crafts, inflatables, wall climbing and more.
There will also be camp-themed photo ops in La Palmera’s Center Court through July 20. All events are subject to change, while supplies last, and some restrictions may apply.
