With the 2025 season kicking off in four days, the Texas Longhorns roster is taking shape. After weeks of fall camp, we have a good idea of what the UT depth chart will look like when the Horns travel to the Horseshoe in Columbus, Ohio, on Saturday to take on the defending national champion Ohio State Buckeyes.
Some of the spots are obvious. We all know Arch Manning is the starting quarterback. But other positions are of interest because there’s either a new starter or a freshman starter.
Actually, it looks like there will be only one freshman starter, Graceson Littleton at nickelback although the nickel will not play every down. Several freshman are starting the season at second string.
The defensive line has been augmented with transfers. In fact, all of the starting defensive tackle spots have been filled with the transfer portal.
