Cowboys Headlines: 6 current players with HoF shot, UFL standout added

When Dallas Cowboys defensive coordinator Christian Parker assembled his staff, he went outside the normal pool of coaches. Parker went into detail about each member of his court, showingjust how much thought he put into making the defense better.

Parker isn’t the only one doing due diligence, as the Cowboys front office made a swap out of hopeful running backs. The team waived UDFA running back Dominic Richardson and signed UFL star running back Jashaun Corbin. The former Florida St. running back played in six games for the Giants in 2023 before ending up in the UFL, where he led the league in rushing yards in 2025 with the San Antonio Brahmas.

And while his journey to making a roster again is a steep climb, the Cowboys had six players mentioned in ESPN’s assessment of who could be enshrined in the Hall of Fame one day. The lone player identified as just needing to keep up what he’s currently doing is left guard Tyler Smith. QB Dak Prescott, his top two wideouts in CeeDee Lamb and George Pickens, second-year right guard Tyler Booker, and veteran DT Quinnen Williams all were identified as players who have work to do, but could get there.
