Gone Viral: Amazing catch by Texas WR Cam Coleman lights up internet

Cam Coleman was the biggest name in the transfer portal pool. The former Auburn Tigers wide receiver, who is now Texas quarterback Arch Manning’s primary weapon, is already making highlight plays in Burnt Orange.

Coleman has had plenty of amazing catches during his college football career, but none are as insane as the leaping, reaching, one-handed grab he made Saturday. And the video of it has gone viral.

In the clip, Coleman goes airborne to grab a tipped pass from Manning. The ball knuckled way behind Coleman, but he pirouetted in mid-air and snagged the football with just a few fingers on his left hand. The Alabama native then landed on his left foot with his back facing the direction he was running in on the crossing route. He then pulled off a 360-spin move that allowed him to split the defenders and run for a TD after the catch.

It is the type of moment UT coach Steve Sarkisian is hoping for out of the transfer this fall as the Longhorns tackle one of the toughest schedules in the nation.

The 6-foot-3, 204-pound Coleman caught 93 passes for 1,306 yards and 13 touchdowns in two seasons at Auburn, averaging 14 yards per catch.
