A Zanesville-based company is voluntarily recalling some of its coleslaw, according to a release from Ohio Department of Agriculture.
My Wife’s Slaw is recalling its Original and Jalapeno Heat flavored coleslaw sold in 8 oz and 16 oz glass mason jars. The products are considered adulterated because they were produced without inspection, and safety parameters could not be verified, according to the release.
Products were sold directly to consumers through online sales and available to be shipped nationwide. They were manufactured and distributed between April 1 and April 28, 2026.
No reports of illnesses involving these products have been reported, according to the release. However, individuals exhibiting signs or symptoms of foodborne illness should contact a physician immediately.
The ODOA is advising consumers to safely dispose of the product.
